As as undergraduate student at The University of Delaware, I am able to pursue a double major in Mass Communication and in Leadership, with minor concentrations in Advertising and Integrated Design.  I am passionate about what I am studying and I strive to produce high quality work. Ideally, my future career will allow me to merge all that I have learned thus far, on both the creative and business side of my degree.

If I had to pick one word to describe myself, it would be creative. Being creative means a lot more to me now than it did when I was five years old drawing my own Disney characters on every surface possible. I try to apply creativity to all facets of my life and in non-traditional ways. As I mention in my leadership credo, I strive to think, act and communicate differently. I think all leaders need to have this mindset. I not only try to stay outside of the box, but I like to think I destroy the box; I don't ever want to limit the ideas and thoughts of not only myself but of others. Divergent thinking is such an important part of problem solving and innovation. Without creativity no one would ever question the things around them, without questioning there would never be innovation and without innovation, we would never evolve. Creativity is an essential part of life, especially mine.
